Kathy Esmaeili
Finding Inspiration in Every Turn
Kathy's passion for design was sparked by her family's architectural heritage, instilling a deep appreciation for art since her early years. At just seven, she eagerly colored trees and flowers on her father's architectural plans, a playful beginning that grew into active involvement in home plan drafting during high school. Her education took a diverse path, combining design, marketing, and graphic design at San Jose State University. This mix equipped her not only with design skills but also the ability to connect with clients.
Kathy's career began in the tech industry, where she managed art projects, balancing designs on set budgets. Seeking growth, she pursued an executive management degree from the University of Utah. But it was while designing her dream home that Kathy's fascination with architecture grew. This passion led her to earn an Interior Design degree from the Cilker School of Art and Design, graduating as a dean's scholar in 2023. During her studies, she designed multiple homes, handling budgets of over 4 million dollars.
Kathy's design inspiration draws from global travels, exploring architectural wonders like the Pantheon, the Duomo, and the Palace of Versailles. She uses principles like proportions, balance, scale, and harmony from these places to guide her work. She pays special attention to details in each corner of the house, giving them a unique character that fits into the overall concept and harmony of the space. Everything blends in.
Understanding her clients' dreams, she combines creativity with practicality and financial considerations. Beyond designing, she oversees projects closely, ensuring they stay within budget and maintain top-notch quality.
As an interior designer, Kathy is dedicated to guiding her clients at every step, ensuring they achieve their design and construction goals together.
